‘en Joy dance fitness studio to open in Otterbourne

The ‘en Joy dance fitness studio will be opening this summer at Otterbourne Village Hall. Located in the John and Betty Mobbs Suite, a wide range of dance fitness sessions will be led by Helen Clarke, a fully qualified fitness professional who has already established classes in the surrounding area, including Colden Common, Winchester and Chandler’s Ford.

With a focus on feel-good, fun and functional fitness, there will be something on offer for all ages, from Early Movers to Diamond Dancers. Class styles range from musical theatre themed Broadway Boogie, to Strictly inspired FitSteps, conditioning Barre and DanceTone, uplifting DanceFlow and of course ‘en Joy’s popular high-energy Zumba fitness parties, with plans for plenty more classes – there’ll be something for everyone!

Helen graduated in 2004 with a BA hons degree in dance and drama, is a member of EMD UK (the national governing body for group exercise), CIMSPA (the chartered professional development body for the sport and physical activity sector) and the NATD (the national association of teachers of dancing). Helen’s fitness qualifications include Level 2 Group Exercise to Music, Level 2 Children’s Fitness and a Level 3 specialism in designing exercise programmes for older adults.

Helen is hugely excited about bringing her classes to Otterbourne and looks forward to welcoming you all to the ‘en Joy dance fitness studio!

“Helen brings joy to fitness. Always smiling and full of enthusiasm for the workouts, which reflects upon her class. I’ve never had so much fun at a fitness class. I’d happily recommend to anyone who wants to learn fitness routines to music and enjoys burning calories!” – Vicki

“The classes help with motivation, mental health, and personal fitness, and quite honestly, are a life saver. I have been looking for someone like Helen for years, and so much more exciting than going to a gym!” – Bonny For updates on the studio opening and full timetable, please click here or follow the Facebook page at by clicking here You can also contact Helen for more information at
